Students are to be held responsible to complete hours of homework after being held captive in a school for 7-8 hours, to then complete the day after. The studies of Stanford show that homework causes the student to experience greater stress, reductions in health, and less time for friends, family and extracurricular pursuits. Shoveling snow has became a major issue in the state of New York. The harsh winters bring tons of snow that are then needed to be shoveled out of driveways and sidewalks, which becomes a problem for the elderly as well as the regular day person.
